Recently I conducted a CTO Refresher course at a local agency.  One of the trainers was very involved and seemed to be on top of so many aspects of their program.  She had completed APCO's CTO course online.  She related that all the trainers talked about was CRITICAL THINKING.  What was it, how do you train it, what good is it anyway.  

For sure this is a very complex subject.  I remember in my Adult Learning course at Antioch having many such discussions.  The latest eTips for trainers involves one aspect of teaching critical thinking which isn't really teaching, it's facilitating or provoking.  If you didn't get this issue email me and I'll forward it.

Also we did some 'critical thinking' here at our company.  How can we provide critical thinking tools for trainers.  That is what we do, provide for needs.  Check out Good Call Bad Call - a Critical Thinking Trainer's Tool.  Currently we have two and anticipate maybe 10 more.
