Experienced Emergency Communications Trainers asked for EZ CAD. This exe file is a very basic call taking entry card that is generic enough for training Call Taking for police, fire and/or EMS calls.
In training, you want the learner to experience the evaluation and judgment process. In other words you want them to think like the computer - which by the way was designed to do the thinking - that initially was done by humans (cards). EZ CAD allows this critical thinking to happen.
**Free-form fields, not data driven! Any agency or training program can use EZ CAD immediately without any data dumping.
**Basic Call Taking fields include: Incident Address, Caller, Phone Number, Caller Address, Narrative, Call Type (Code), Priority, Jurisdiction.
**Multiple cards can be worked simultaneously for learning multi tasking.
**Student prints or saves the calls for evaluation or training or next session use. You show the trainee how to shorten a narrative without losing important information.
**Site license allow for installation on any computer on the premise. Does not allow for distribution to other agencies.
